Health and Safety Training

Basic Occupational Health and Safety Act : 2 days R 2 700,00
The training will cover the following modules:
o Applying occupational health and safety to the workplace.
o Relevant current sections of the current OHS Act are applied to a given case study.
o The implementation and enforcement of selected legislation.
o The implementation of other SHE related legislation.
o The relationship between legal compliance and system requirements.
o Opinion of the legal positions of both employer and employee.
o Application of common law principles relating to occupational health and safety in the workplace.
o Common law principles applicable to SHE in the workplace are described and motivated.
o An opinion of the legal position of both employer and employee with motivations in terms of the common law principles applicable to SHE in the workplace.
o Apply the law of evidence and the law of civil and criminal procedure in any given case study.
o Relevant rules of the law of evidence and the law of civil and criminal procedure are explained.
o The rules of the law of evidence and the law of civil and criminal procedures are applied.
o The criminal and / or civil liability negligent party in terms of the principles of the law of delict and / or criminal law are applied.
o The legal position of the negligent party in terms of the principles of the law of delict and the criminal law are applied to an accident that occurs in the workplace.
